Our popular Niagara 4 certification course (TCP) has gone virtual. Jeff Hunter reconfigured and updated the Tridium N4 class to accommodate an online format and still get students prepared to ace the certification exam. Students receive a virtual lab book with 40 labs that dive into specific aspects of the framework plus access to instructional videos for each lab and daily office hours with our certified instructor for private questions. Each student will also receive a 3-month temporary N4 license to complete the course work and continue sharpening your skills even after the class is over. Class runs Monday-Friday. The test is on Friday.

You need to have good Windows skills. If you have minimal computer skills, this class is probably not for you.
You'll need to know how to right-click and also use some Windows shortcuts (CTRL+C, CTRL+V) - If that doesn't make sense, you may want to take our N4 End User Class.

Do I need any programming experience to take the class?
Not really. Previous programming experience is a plus, but not necessary. The course is designed to teach students the basics of programming and assumes they have no prior experience. A working knowledge of controls is very beneficial.
What happens if I fail the test?
There are a maximum of 200 points on the test. You'll need to score 70% to pass. If you score between 50-69% you can retake the test within 60 days for a $500 fee.
If you score below 50%, you'll need to take the entire course again before you can take the test. The original course fee will be charged.

Is the test hard?
Yes
Is the test multiple choice?
No. Students start with a pre-built station that they copy to their Jace. They will be given a series of instructions to complete each section of the test. Think of it as a sequence of operations that has to be completed on a job site.
